she/her/hers
Mari is a citizen of Wyandotte Nation and supports her community as a facilitator of online language classes. Mari believes in equitable access to health, wealth, and learning resources. She has previously worked for a federal agency funding community-based projects in Indigenous communities and at a national nonprofit supporting local government officials. Mari does this work because it aligns with her values of supporting communities and expanding access. In her current work, she focuses on supporting Indigenous women, including non-binary, 2Spirit, and trans women by supporting and aligning Roanhorse Consulting’s three major projects: CENTER Native, Rematriating Economies Apprenticeship, and the Indigenous Femme Founders Fund.
