Businesses play a key role in their workers’ well-being, community, and environment. But how can your enterprise make the biggest impact while improving financial returns? Boston Impact Initiative and Innovation Studio have teamed up to offer a four-week Mini-Accelerator designed for small businesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that want to start making an impact, or amplify their existing impact.
The program is FREE and includes virtual workshops on understanding community impact, business ownership models, and management for impact. In group sessions and through one-on-one coaching, participants will learn how to identify opportunities for impact within their own enterprise and integrate impact into successful business strategies. Six of the companies will be invited to pitch their impact plans at an in-person Pitch Competition in Boston in June.
Minority and women-owned businesses are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and close on April 12. Applicants will be selected through brief screening interviews.
