Ishita Shah is the Head of Impact-First Investing at Mulberry Impact, a family office, where she is building a portfolio of impact-first investments advancing racial equity, climate justice, and regenerative agriculture.

She brings over 15 years of experience spanning impact investing strategy, investment research & analysis, and client management. Most recently, she was an independent consultant specializing in impact-first investing, advising family offices, funds, and nonprofits on designing and deploying investment strategies across asset classes. Her clients included Prime Coalition, Boston Impact Initiative, Candide Group, Transform Finance, and Collective Action for Just Finance. Prior to consulting, Ishita spent five years at Align Impact, a 100% impact-focused Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), where she built and led the firm’s Catalytic Capital practice. She developed the investment strategy and product offering while leading sourcing, underwriting, portfolio management for the catalytic portfolio. She spent the early days of her career in ESG research and client management at Bloomberg and program management at New Classrooms.

Ishita earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she concentrated in Impact Investing and was a CASE Impact Investing Initiative (CASEi3) Fellow. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.

She currently serves on the Investment Committees of Transformative 25 and Prime Coalition.
