BII is celebrating the start of Fall 2025 sessions for GreenEdge Accelerator, a statewide program helping Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) strengthen their operations, gain certifications and compete for contracts in Massachusetts’ growing clean energy industry.
The Fall 2025 expert-led class sessions kicked off this September, bringing together local business owners in construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, manufacturing, logistics and professional services. Another 8-week series begins in Spring 2026, and business coaching continues all year for those accepted through GreenEdges’s rolling admissions process.
GreenEdge is designed for small businesses that want to grow, diversify and connect to opportunities created by the state’s investments in clean energy, including building retrofits, solar installations and electric vehicle infrastructure. Spanish-speaking business owners and companies based in Gateway Cities are specially encouraged to apply.
The GreenEdge Accelerator is funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and offered at no cost to participating businesses.
