In partnership with a family foundation, BII provides education and training to students studying at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The objective of the fellowship is to strengthen the impact investing ecosystem in areas underserved by capital markets by empowering a diverse next generation of investors to allocate equity investments into early-stage companies.
BII provides concrete case study-based training that demonstrates how an impact-first approach can be integrated into every stage of the investing process, from sourcing and diligence to structuring, measuring and managing a portfolio.
