Guillermo Quinteros is Executive Director and Managing Weaver of the Partnership for Democracy & Education, LLC, which connects change-makers with donors, funders, investors and political leaders to promote more generative and democratic forms of politics and the solidarity economy. This is the latest phase of his longstanding work in helping build the electoral and political infrastructure of the social justice sector to contest for governance power. He previously served as senior fellow and founder of the Independent Resource Generation (IRG) Hub at Amalgamated Foundation. Earlier and for several years, he was program director of both the Solidago Foundation, a public charity, and the See Forward Fund, a 501(c)(4) social welfare foundation, where he contributed to the development of what are now called independent political organizations. He has also led community-based and statewide organizations working on education and democracy reform issues, leaders and candidate development and elections. He currently serves on the board of the Proteus Action League. He has a master’s degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in economics from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras.
