Jennifer Ching is a passionate advocate for social justice with great breadth of experience as a lawyer, non-profit leader, teacher and organizer. North Star Fund, where she has been the Executive Director since 2017, brings together a community of New Yorkers who care about social justice, and who combine their resources—money, skills and networks—to fund locally-grown movements for change in New York City and the Hudson Valley. Before coming to North Star Fund, Jennifer practiced law for nearly two decades, leading Queens Legal Services (LSNYC), a community-based legal advocacy center and New York Appleseed, a public interest policy center. She resides in Brooklyn with her partner and two children.
