Justine is from the Pueblo of Laguna, located in New Mexico, where she was raised and currently resides. She is deeply rooted in community and the values that have been instilled in her as a Pueblo and Chicana woman. She navigates the world using her values, lived experience, and people-centered approach to guide her. Her work is influenced by her background in Community Health Education, working within Indigenous communities for over 10 years, and her passion for building systems that allow access to the resources needed for Indigenous people and people of color to self-determine a path toward a healthy life for themselves. In her current role at Roanhorse Consulting, Justine continues to explore alternative routes to access capital and shift it to Indigenous communities to help future generations thrive.
