Maven Construction is a woman- and minority-owned general contracting firm that provides construction management services. The Dorchester-based start-up focuses on energy efficiency projects. Founder JocCole “JC” Burton is a construction industry veteran who plans to develop innovative construction careers for people of color and women. In 2018, BII Fund provided project finance to support an energy efficiency project with Howard University.
