Just Futures Launches Values-Driven 401(k)s and 403(b)s

San Francisco, CA – March 6, 2024 – Just Futures, a public benefit investment firm, announces the public launch of its turnkey 401(k) and 403(b) employer-based retirement plans, designed to enable workers to save while staying true to their social justice values. The pioneering, people of color-led firm was founded by movement activists and nonprofit veterans to create the retirement platform that they always wished existed for themselves and their organizations.

Just Futures is answering a demand for retirement products that align with the values of nonprofit workers and workers at mission-driven companies. A 2023 survey by Nuveen found that 91% of millennial and Gen Z investors agree that having responsible investment options on their retirement menus would make them more loyal to their employer. In 2022, Just Futures conducted a nationwide listening tour of over 200 nonprofit organizations across the country which highlighted that nonprofit organizations and their workers did not believe values-aligned retirement options even existed.
